Michael R. Juffa, Chief Executive Officer

In addition to general management duties, Michael plays a key role in the planning and implementation of our HR efforts, which include maintaining strategic relationships with national organizations that utilize the company's services. Prior to joining FBD Consulting, Inc. in 1984, he was a Group and Pension Manager with Union Mutual Insurance Company (UMUM) since 1976.

Mike received his B.A. degree from Westminster College in 1974, then went on to earn his Chartered life Underwriters degree from the American College in 1980. He has been a speaker at state, national and international meetings, including discussions on pensions and health & welfare planning. 

 

Julie Riggle McKee, President

Julie advises clients on a wide array of human resources matters, and because of her extensive legal background is able to provide a unique perspective to clients on preventive measures for minimizing employment-related risks. She brings with her 15 years of legal experience with the law firm Stinson Morrison & Hecker, LLP. As the director of the law firm’s Human Resources Consulting Group, she initiated the firm’s utilization of a wide array of proactive human resources services for its clients, and also served as the firm’s legal advisor on internal HR matters.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas, as well as a Juris Doctorate degree from Washburn University School of Law where she graduated with honors. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and she actively serves on the Heartland Labor and Employment Law Institute. Julie is a sought-after speaker at local and regional meetings.
